I JUST WANT TO THANK EVERYONE FOR WRITING ME. I HAVEN’T GOT A CHANCE TO WRITE BACK ANYONE. I SO APPRECIATE MY MOM AND DAD, EVEN MORE THAN BEFORE IF THAT’S POSSIBLE. sorry i’ve been away so long. tim and i have been out of town and i’ve lost track of time. i can’t believe all the changes on broadway. i still know a few of the originals at least. lol. christian is rocking the town. like we all knew he could.

i have a lot of new news but no time to write about it in detail… i am learning , slowly , how to multi task.

ok a hint…tim and i have become a family.

the only reason i left jersey boys was to return to tim in california, and start a family. and we have a new addition , a son. his name is harrison and he’s 5 , and he’s already changed our world in 5 short days.

so if i’m slow at returning your emails, or phone calls, give me time. this is new to me ..like learning all those dance steps, but trickier, cuz the moves are permanent and forming a living, human soul.. we are blessed. signing out for now…xoxo jennifer, tim and harrison

WELL I GOT ALL DRESSED AND READY TO GO ,FIRST TO A DINNER PARTY WITH TIMS CO WORKERS, AND THAN STRAIGHT TO THE UPRIGHT CABARET . I WAS USING THE DINNER PARTY AS AN EXPERIMENT, BECAUSE I NEVER EAT OR DRINK WINE OR ANYTHING BEFORE PERFORMING, BUT THIS HAD BEEN PLANNED FOR AWHILE. AND THEY HAD 2 CATS ,AND I’[M ALLERGIC. WELL UPON ARRIVING AT THEIR CHARMING HOUSE , MY PHONE RANG AND IT WAS THE PRODUCER OF UPRIGHT CABARET INFORMING ME THE SHOW HAD TO BE CANCELLED BECAUSE OF SOUND ISSUES AND COULD I SING THE FOLLOWING NIGHT? HE WAS SO SWEET ABOUT IT, CUZ I KNOW HE HAD A LIST OF PERFORMERS HE HAD TO CONTACT .UNFORTUNATELY WE ALREADY HAD PLANS FOR SATURDAY SO I COULDN’T. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO THEM BEFORE ,BUT NOW I HAVE A RAIN CHECK FOR A FUTURE DATE WHICH I’M LOOKING FORWARD TOO.

NEEDLESS TO SAY, I FULLY ENGAGED IN CHEESE AND CRACKERS, SWEDISH MEATBALLS, JALAPENO CHEESE POPPERS, MORE CHEESE, CABERNET AND NOT 2 CATS BUT 4…IT WAS A LOVELY EVENING ALL IN ALL ..AND I NEVER WAS IN SUCH GOOD VOICE AND GOOD HAIR..LOL

Hey if you’re in town stop by the Upright Cabaret for the weekend Revue. I’m singing a song on Friday night. Not sure till tomorrow which song..but it will be fun. The Best Buy callback was a riot, all dressed in winter gear in California pelting our imaginary neighbors with imaginary snowballs. Didn’t’ get it but had a riot playing. My good college friends were in town from Chicago, Laurin and Troy and Tim and I brought them around Old Town Pasadena, and ate at one of my favorite little Italian places there, Mi Piace…homemade foccacio bread  hot from the Wood Burning Stove…yummy.

Also my good friend Tricia and I went to An American Carol and laughed for the entire 90 minute movie. It’s a riot , a lot like Airplane and even features Leslie Nielson. Ok I have to go rehearse..

And remember just say no to a cheap flight on SPIRIT AIRLINES…

OK 2 Nights at the Upright Cabaret in West Hollywood, were a blast. Shane Scheel and Chris Isaacson are these young,hot producers who started this whole phenomena. It was a riot being part of it. The 1rst night about 19 performers sang all songs of Dolly Parton. I hadn’t heard of most of them, including my own. The band was under Chris Brattens mighty direction and called the “Brat pack”.A lot of my new friends from the Les Miserables Production at the Hollywood Bowl were in it. Including Tom Lowe, who was Enjolras, and Marius in the West End production, Julie Garnye, Leslie McKinnel..it was so nice to hear them sing outside of the show. Leslie sang a haunting version of Little Sparrow which was beautiful…watch out NYC she’s coming out there next month, and Julie who used to live in NYC and is a regular at Upright, sang Heartbreaker, with such a nice belt/mix range.

Everyone was really into it..it was actually the 1rst time I went to the restroom and the Mens room had the longer line.. But a lot of fun people sang and were in the audience. The 2nd night I followed my former Doody from Grease on Bway, Ty Taylor. Some may know him from that reality show a few years ago, Rockstar INXX…his voice….glorious. I’m like ‘I HAVE TO FOLLOW TY/DOODY?”  But mine was a very upbeat song luckily after his ballad…and it couldn’t have been a better 2 nights and debut there. I hope to be there again..such fun..Here’s a little taste of my song, I learned in a few days…enjoy

for any of you West Coasters seeking a fun weekend. I’m in a Dolly Parton Tribute at the Upright Cabaret on Friday and Saturday. THis is the exciting LA hip cabaret space that Lea Michelle just performed her cabaret at , where JLY threw in a few songs. I’ve never met the producers till 2 days ago, and they are young, vibrant guys with a cool vision. This tribute is to conincide with 9 to 5 opening at the Ahmanson this month.

I guess there are over 30 performers over the 2 nights. I’m not sure yet who they are. I just know I’m learning and singing a Dolly Parton song I had not previously heard..Have YOU??? it’s called  HEARTBREAK EXPRESS.

The show is 15$ and it starts at 9 pm…

SORRY IT’S BEEN A BIT SINCE LES MIZ CLOSED AND TIM AND I GOT BACK FROM A MINI VACATION IN FLORIDA. ALL IS GOING WELL. LAST SATURDAY I ACTUALLY GOT TO SEE JACKIE SEIDEN ( MARY DELGADO IN THE 1RST NAT’L TOUR OF JBOYS) IN LA IN THE MUSICAL

RESPECT. SHE WAS WONDERFUL. BESIDES BEING BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT, IT WAS SO NICE TO HEAR HER SING. SULTRY, BELTY AND WARM. I MET HER PARENTS TOO AFTER THE SHOW WHICH WAS A TREAT. HER SHOW CLOSED LAST WEEK , BUT IT WAS A LOT OF FUN AS IT WAS A MONTAGE OF GIRL GROUP SONGS, SOLOS USED TO MARK WOMENS GROWTH FROM THE 1800′S TO NOW.

alright,not sure where to begin. We closed with an opening night party after Sundays performance.wonderful, because it was really the first time I got to know some of the amazing cast members. As we only had 10 minute breaks occasionally,and it was an intense study and creation of the show.

It was the first time in the Hollywood Bowls history,that a musical sold out. Yes,on Saturday night there were no seats to be had. But I did manage to meet those prudent planners who bought their tkts way in advance..You know who you are! The majority of Jersey Boy fans.. I finally met some West Coast fans…Not sure they even saw the original Broadway Cast, but they were gracious to me ..I was stunned that Mrs Valli is a cute , bright 17 year old girl.. She nearly fainted when she finally met JLY> And I met Stubbleyou and his gorgeous son Garrett. Charly looked stunning in this adorable Marc Jacobs yellow dress..and she showered us with gifts that stunned my husband Tim.

Howard was there, Linda, Courtney came in for a day from Texas,oh gosh ,you guys forgive my memory with names, but I remember each one of you, especially with all the photos after, which please forward to me so we can get on this website..OK??

My friends here were stunned that some of you had seen the show over 40 times..actually even over 4 times!! They said to me “Are they millionaires or something?”

It was wonderful to do the show again. BUt it was weird too, in that whenever Eponine(played and sung beautifully by Lea Michelle) sang, I would prepare my breath and voice to go on.. Michelle Maika(who was so moving as Cosette) had said the same thing to me in rehearsals. Because Michelle had been Eponine on the 2nd Nat’l TOur ,and Bway, the same time I was doing it on the 1rst Nat’l and the month on Bway..

JLY was so relaxed, and fun , and I know this had to be nice for him to shine when he was on stage,which he did, but not have to shoulder the show. So much more to say…but it’s sunny outside, and tomorrow we leave for a mini vacation at 6am..so there’s much to do before I sleep..
