NO BLUES IN THE NIGHT
Comments(4) WELL I GOT ALL DRESSED AND READY TO GO ,FIRST TO A DINNER PARTY WITH TIMS CO WORKERS, AND THAN STRAIGHT TO THE UPRIGHT CABARET . I WAS USING THE DINNER PARTY AS AN EXPERIMENT, BECAUSE I NEVER EAT OR DRINK WINE OR ANYTHING BEFORE PERFORMING, BUT THIS HAD BEEN PLANNED FOR AWHILE. AND THEY HAD 2 CATS ,AND I’[M ALLERGIC. WELL UPON ARRIVING AT THEIR CHARMING HOUSE , MY PHONE RANG AND IT WAS THE PRODUCER OF UPRIGHT CABARET INFORMING ME THE SHOW HAD TO BE CANCELLED BECAUSE OF SOUND ISSUES AND COULD I SING THE FOLLOWING NIGHT? HE WAS SO SWEET ABOUT IT, CUZ I KNOW HE HAD A LIST OF PERFORMERS HE HAD TO CONTACT .UNFORTUNATELY WE ALREADY HAD PLANS FOR SATURDAY SO I COULDN’T. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO THEM BEFORE ,BUT NOW I HAVE A RAIN CHECK FOR A FUTURE DATE WHICH I’M LOOKING FORWARD TOO.
NEEDLESS TO SAY, I FULLY ENGAGED IN CHEESE AND CRACKERS, SWEDISH MEATBALLS, JALAPENO CHEESE POPPERS, MORE CHEESE, CABERNET AND NOT 2 CATS BUT 4…IT WAS A LOVELY EVENING ALL IN ALL ..AND I NEVER WAS IN SUCH GOOD VOICE AND GOOD HAIR..LOL

I see you have been busy. I have missed the last three posts. Things with Diana are the same. Two MRI’s appointments made and two more seizures. One on each moring of the MRI, the last one with a trip to the hospital ER. So we have to set a third MRI to set up & try again. She has an EEG test to be done wed 10/15…keep your fingers crossed there is no seizure that morning.
Her neurologist has now put her on meds so we will see if it helps. I’ll email more when I can. Hope you & Tim are well.

Looks like you are keeping very busy out there in sunny Cali!! Is that your permanent home now? Ed and I would like to go back to Mohonk some time. They have made so many improvements since we were there on our honeymoon 23 years ago! Looking forward to your Nip/Tuck episode in Jan. (it’s one of my fave shows) Be safe and enjoy!

Jen, I am envious of all the food you’ve consumed that evening. Wondering what the result will be now if you and I get up on a see-saw. Will we need to call the fire dept. to help get me down??
Re your Dolly Parton extravaganza a few weeks back, Sebastian Arcelus mentioned last night that his wife Stephanie Block is now touring with the “Nine to Five” road gang.
