OFF FOR CHRISTMAS

WELL I HAVE 2 MINUTES TO WRITE THAT I’M RUNNING AROUND AND DOING AN AWFUL JOB OF REMEMBERING CHRISTMAS GIFTS AND BIRTHDAYS, SO THIS IS MY INFORMAL APOLOGY. I THINK MY MULTI TASKING SKILLS HAVE DIMINISHED EVEN MORE AFTER A YEAR OF BEING A MOM. I THOUGHT I’D GET BETTER.

BUT I JUST REALIZED HARRISON AND I LEAVE FOR CHRISTMAS IN MICHIGAN WEDNESDAY, AND I HAVEN’T COMPLETED, AND BARELY STARTED SHOPPING. I THINK 1RST GRADE IS VERY BUSY AND YOU PARENTS KNOW WHAT I MEAN, LOGGING IN 20 MINUTES OF READING DAILY, BESIDES THE HOMEWORK, AND KARATE, AND CUB SCOUTS, AND THAN REMEMBERING FAMILY BDAYS AND FRIENDS, AND I THINK BEING THAT WE LIVE IN CALIFORNIA, I FORGET ITS WINTER, AND THINK I HAVE MONTHS TO GO BEFORE SHOPPING.

SO TIM CAN’T COME TO MICHIGAN CUZ HIS (UNDERSTUDY) IS ON VACATION FOR A MONTH AND A HALF IN A COUNTRY NEAR INDIA. I GUESS HE SAVED UP YEARS OF VACATION DAYS TO EARN THIS..BUT TIMS PRESENCE WILL BE TRULY MISSED BY MY FAMILY…AND YIPES…ME…

HE LIKES PLAYING OUT IN THE CHILLY, FREEZING SNOW. FOR HOURS… I DON’T. GOD BE WITH ME, AND YOU AS WE TRY AND REMEMBER THE REAL REASON FOR THE SEASON.

THAT’S WHY I’M HOPING THAT YOU’LL WISELY USE THIS TIME TO FORGIVE US FOR NO GIFTS, OR CARDS..ON TIME.. OR ON TIME..LOL.

LOVE AND PEACE AND BLESSINGS AND JOY IN THE NEW YEAR..

Yes, motherhood makes one very busy, but you are making great memories for the future. I miss those days when I had a little kid around the house for the holidays. The pix you show on blog are wonderful and you all look terrific.
Love and blessings to you all for the season and the 2010 New Year. :)

Love the pictures of you guys with the decorations. I miss you! I went to NYC for Daniel’s Christmas show and kept thinking that you would have been so cute up there singing with him as one of the Broadway guest stars. I hope you enjoy our beloved Michigan, I was there at the beginning of the month — no snow then, none in NYC this past weekend either and of course nothing in TX! If you have a White Christmas make snow angels and think of me! Love you and wish you the most blessed Christmas in Michigan and same to Tim in Cali this year!!!

    No problem Jen….

    Miss ya,
    Love always,

OK Jen, I forgive you for no gifts this year, but consider it like a tax extension–the gifts still accrue. Next year, I expect 16 gifts….since I celebrate Chanukah, it’s one for each night! (Yeah, I know life isn’t fair…you only get one!!)

Hope your Christmas was happy. I actually spent Chanukah this year in Warsaw, Poland (on business), but in a way, it was a gift just to spend two weeks in the city where my maternal grandparents grew up and review a bit of my heritage.

Welcome to this new decade, Jen, and may many more dreams come true for you, Tim, and Harrison. It truly has been my honor to meet you during this last decade!
