Toyota Commercial, 1rst Grade, and Crown swallowing and Upright Cabaret

Yep ..Last night as I was reheating the ribs TIm grilled over the weekend, I snuck a bite of one of TIms..and I thought,”yummy , but kinda chewy” 2 minutes later I noticed my temporary crown was missing.. The permanent one comes next week. It has a habit of coming over my tooth, once before while eating a banana..but how did I chew , swallow and continue cooking without noticing.

So everything comes out in the ‘wash’ so they say.. I’ll get another one tomorrow..Yeeha.

OK onto business

Friday night I’m singing a song at the 8 and 10 o’clock show at Upright Cabaret in LA.

They’ve recently moved to VERMONT restaraunt..so I”m excited cuz that’s my old Los Feliz neighborhood.I probably will sing SInce I Fell For YOu.

2) My Toyota commercial ,where I play a wagon woman/wife in 1892 at a tailgating party, airs SUnday , Sept 20th during the NFL halftime game..I believe NY GIANTS vs Dallas? Anyway it’s the night game on SUnday. It may be in black and white. I’ll be the one jumping off a wagon and carrying a basket.. I’ll write more about my fun time after it airs..

Harrison gets out early on Wednesday so I have to get going. He loves reading his poems the 1rst graders get to read on Fridays at the assembly.

We spent all Sunday at knotts berry farm’s SOAK CITY..he loves the water ..and gymnastics, and me…and tim..

    YOU are sooooo busy my friend!! Wow! So excited your singing at the Upright! Wish I could be there to see you, but you know my heart will be there. Harrison’s a little water bug! That’s great that he loves the water and loves to read poems aloud during assembly. I’m telling you Jen, he’s headed for the stage! Cannot wait for your commercial to air, so excited!! You looked adorable in costume my 1892 basket carrying jumping off the wagon woman BFF! How’s that for a title!! LOL!!! Love you girl and love to the guys too!!!

    Being a huge Giants fan, I will NOT miss the commercial. But I wouldn’t miss it anyway – no matter who was playing! Just came back from NYC and the U.S. Open. Also saw the show Rock of Ages. It was amazing. Sounds like Harrison is loving 1st grade and that’s great!

    I would love to catch your gig at the Upright (new location is much more mileage-friendly too) but unfortunately it’s Stubbletwo’s ‘Back To School’ night Friday. Please keep posting your appearances – I WILL get to one!

    And Lenny Welch’s “Since I Fell For You” is one of my all-time little-known faves. I would love to hear you sing it someday! Have a great performance,

    OMG!!! Jennifer TOTALLY rocks the house when she sings this number! Wow! She owns it, she belts it, she’s gentle with it, she’s amazing with it! How’s that sound coming out of that little person, you ask yourself!!! You do have to hear her sing it sometime, stubbleyou, and anyone else who’s never heard Jen sing this number, totally awesome!!! Just thought I’d add my 2 cents!!!
