SORRY OUR COMPUTER HAS BEEN DOWN

OK HERE ARE PHOTOS OF HARRISON’S 6TH BDAY PARTY, AND MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH AT EL CHOLO, WITH WANDA, JT AND HARRISON’S GRANDPARENTS FROM FLORIDA. AND LAST WEEK WAS EXCITING, EXHAUSTING ,SUCCESSFUL AND NOW MAMA NEEDS A JOB!!!!!!!

WE HAD 50 KIDS AND PARENTS!!!!!!AND IT WENT FROM THE PIZZERIA FROM 12 TO 1:15 TO JUMP AND JAMMIN TILL 4!!!!! THEN, WE OPENED ALL OF HARRISON’S 3 MILLION PRESENTS WHEN WE GOT HOME. AT THE PIZZERIA , THE WONDERFUL OWNER JIM, ALLOWED SOME KIDS IN THE KITCHEN AND SUDDENLY EACH KID BEGAN MAKING THEIR OWN INDIVIDUAL, SIGNATURE PIZZA ..AND JIM HELPED THEM FIRE IT UP, AND ALL THE PARENTS CONVENED IN THE KITCHEN FOR PHOTO OPS. IT COULDN’T HAVE BEEN MORE SPECIAL IF IT HAD BEEN PLANNED.

THE NEXT EVENT WAS AT SANTA ANITA MALL, JUMP AND JAMMIN..NO SHOES ALLOWED. TIM TALKED THEM INTO AN EXTRA HALF HOUR ,AS THEIR WAS LITERALLY NOWHERE TO PARK WHEN WE ARRIVED. I BECAME MARY DELGADO, AND TOLD THE VALET SERVICE MAN THEY NEEDED TO MOVE THESE CARS BLOCKING THE ENTRANCE CUZ I WAS IN CHARGE OF A PARTY…WHEN HE WAS SLOW, I SAID I’M GOING TO CALL THE POLICE..THEN I HAD TO PROFUSELY APOLOGIZE AS I ENDED UP PARKING ILLEGALLY A HALF MILE AWAY IN THEIR VACANT LOT, AND PAYING THEM $8 TO LET ME PARK THERE, AND AFTER I GOT MY OWN CAR…AT EVERY STOP LIGHT HOME, I CLOSED MY EYES… IT WAS SO MUCH FUN, AND EXCITEMENT.

WE GOT A 3/4 SHEET CAKE, CHOCOLATE MOUSSE AT THIS WONDERFUL BAKERY CALLED RUBY’S .. WE STILL HAVE 1/4 OF IT LEFT IN OUR FREEZER, AND JUST ATE THE REMAINDER PIZZA LAST NITE.

MOTHER’S DAY WAS MY CHOICE..TABLESIDE GUACAMOLE AND CHIPS AND NACHOS…AND THEY ALL HAD THE BUFFET.. WANDA, JT AND OUR FAMILY AND HARRISONS GRANDPARENTS FROM FLORIDA FILLED THE TABLE.. AND GPA HUTCH WAS SO GENEROUS HE FOOT THE BILL.

I DIDNT’ EAT AGAIN TILL MID DAY THE NEXT DAY.

LAST NIGHT I GOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO SING AT UPRIGHT CABARET’S 4TH ANNIVERSARY .WANDA , JT AND AMY SUPPORTED ME. I SANG SINCE I FELL FOR YOU. I WAS 3 RD TO LAST, WHICH IS HARD, CUZ IT’S LIKE BEING AT AN AUDITION AND LITERALLY SEEING YOUR PEERS PERFORM, AND THAN YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR THING..AND I CAN’T EAT OR DRINK, OR BE FREE , CUZ I’M IN TRAINING TILL THE MIC IS OFF. SOME NICE TALENT. I LOVE TY TAYLOR, WHO CLOSED IT..HE WAS MY DOODY ON BWAY IN GREASE..AND YOU PROBABLY SAW AND HEARD HIM WHEN THE SHOW INXX WAS ON AND THEY WERE LOOKING FOR A LEAD SINGER. ADAM LAMPERT USUALLY PERFORMS AT UPRIGHT, BUT HE’S BUSY. I WAS HOPING HE AND DANNY GOKEY WOULD BE THE 2 DUELING ARTISTS. AND I LITERALLY WEPT WHEN DANNY WAS CUT. EVERY TIME HE SANG, I WAS MOVED..BECAUSE HE SINGS FROM HIS HEART AND IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT AMAZING NOTES…IT COMES FROM SOMEWHERE REAL AND AUTHENTIC.. LOVE HIM. ADAM IS BLESSED WITH VOCAL CHORDS OF MAGIC.. AND THEY SAY HE’S SO GENUINE AND HUMBLE. LOVE THAT TOO.

ALRIGHT I GOT 6 HOURS SLEEP. IT DOESN’T MATTER IF YOU HAVE FUN AND GET HOME AT 1:15 IN THE MORNING, WHEN YOUR SON JUMPS ON THE BED AT 6:50 READY TO PLAY STAR WARS…

    Hey Jen,

Just got online to catch up on some emails & blogs. Glad to hear that your mother’s day & Harrison’s birthday were so special. Can’t wait to see all the pictures. So, other than a 3hr call back…how did it go? You get the part?

I totally agree on American Idol. I would have loved Danny to win it all. And yes his singing is from his heart. Adam reminds me of Sam Harris. If I close my eyes as he sings, I see Sam singing. He hits many of the same notes. Chris is a great singer too. Anyone of them would be fantastic as the next idol. But each week someone has to go. I think Danny can have a wonderful future in music, just look at fan favorite that also got cut too early…Chris Daughtry.

Still job hunting here. Things are a bit hectic at times, but we survive. I haven’t forgotten about the letter I promised. Just not enough time to sit down for five miutes & write. Everyone here sends their love. Miss ya.

    Love,
    Stacey

    Hi Jen,
I am exhausted just reading your last blog entry! What a busy and wonderful time that was had by all!
OK, so I LOVE Danny Gokey too and can’t wait until he records his first CD – I will be there to buy it!
Time for you to relax and regroup….. at least until the next event – Father’s Day!
    Love to all,
    Doreen

I’ve seen so many great pictures of your family & lots with you and Harrison…and now I have a favorite one. I LOVE the pic with you and Harrison reading the Sponge Bob card (I think I saw Mom written on the pink envelope in the previous photo). His smile and your genuine laughter and joy is just the best:) It’s the picture of true happiness! Thanks for the recap of all your adventures and visits with famly & friends. Enjoy summer! Lulu

Great pictures, Jennifer. “Sorry the computer has been down”??? Dunno Jen, that line should be added to “The check’s in the mail” and “I’m from the government and I’m here to help you.”

Well, in any case, Jennifer, so happy it’s up again. Nice to see the pix of Harrison’s grandparents and JT and Wanda. That one of JT in the paisley shirt and green shorts reminds me of Fred Mertz in the “I Love Lucy” episode where they all go to Hollywood–except that JT is far more photogenic! I will be looking for him on the next cover of “GQ”.
