summer today

WELL I’VE BEEN HOME WITH HARRISON FOR HIS SPRING BREAK THIS PAST WEEK AND WE DID SO MUCH. WE WENT TO LEGOLAND WITH MY FRIEND/DENTIST TAMMY AND HER DAUGHTER SAMANTHA, WHO IS SO CUTE AND A TOMBOY.. THEY LOVED IT. THE NEXT MORNING I BROUGHT HARRISON TO THIS AMAZING PLACE CALLED ‘JUMP N JAMMIN’ AND IT’S A BOUNCE HOUSE, AND HUGE FOOSEBALL GUN LIKE THINGS, AND CLIMBING WALLS, AND JUNGLE GYMS AND ADULTS AND THIER KIDS CAN ONLY WEAR SOCKS. WE STAYED FOR ALMOST 6 HOURS!!!!!!!! UNTIL TIM MET US AND WE WENT TO OUR DEAR FRIEND JOE’S HOUSE SO HE COULD MEET HARRISON AND HAVE HIM MEET HIS 2 RESCUE GREYHOUND DOGS, RAPHAEL AND GABRIEL, AND A RESCUE WILD MARE, NAMED GIANNI. WE ALL MADE DINNER TOGETHER , AND HARRISON WANTED TO CREATE AND TRY EVERYTHING..AND KEPT SAYING ‘YOU’RE FUNNY JOE” AND YOU’RE CRAZY JOE.. LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT FOR BOTH ,A ND HARRISON KEPT PUTTING BLANKETS ON THESE HUGE ,GENTLE DOGS AS IT GOT COLD. IT WAS A GREAT NIGHT, AND HARRISON SLEPT 11 AND A HALF HOURS… TODAY TIM TOOK HIM TO SANTA MONICA BEACH, AFTER CHURCH, WHERE THEY GOT NEW BOOGIE? BOARDS, AND HE BROUGHT HIS BIKE, AND FOOD AND DRINKS AND ENTHUSIASM. IT WILL BE A GOOD FATHER SON DAY. TOMORROW IS HARRISONS 2ND HAIR TRIM.. AND HE RETURNS TO SCHOOL WEDNESDAY. WOW I ADMIRE HOMESCHOOLERS, AND SINGLE MOMS…

WE’RE ALSO PLANNING HIS BDAY PARTY NUMBER 6…AND IT’S 3 WEEKS AWAY AND HE WANTS TO INVITE HIS ENTIRE KINDERGARTEN CLASS AND TBALL TEAM..LOL.. AND I WISH I WERE A MILLIONAIRE.. ALRIGHT THAT ‘S IT FOR NOW.. OH CONGRATS TO BOBBY SPENCER ON THE WONDERFUL REVIEWS FOR ‘NEXT TO NORMAL’ ..I KNOW WANDA AND PAM SAW HIM LAST NIGHT AND SAID HE’S WONDERFUL. AND I LOVE ALICE RIPLEYS VOICE!! SHE CAN DO NO WRONG. AND I ALSO HEAR TRAVIS CLOER IS SLAYING THEM IN VEGAS. THAT MAKES ME SO HAPPY, CUZ HE AND THAT GOD GIVEN INSTRUMENT ARE BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT..KUDOS TO DARLING JENNIFER HIS WIFE TOO..I REALLY MISS THEM. ALRIGHT SIGNING OUT

So glad Spring Break was fun for everyone! You are so rgith about Travis…haven’t seen him as Frankie yet, but I remember his cabaret show and really enjoyed that. He and his wife were so cute and sweet as he signed CD’s. The highlight of that evening, though, was a duet he sang with one very talented lady…that was “The Prayer” and I believe you were his singing partner that evening!

You are really a Supermom , my friend!! Everything sounds good with all of you; so great to hear. Harrison sounds like hes having a ball. How exciting for all of you to be planning his first birthday there. Wanda and I totally loved seeing Bobby in Next To Normal. Wish you could have been there too. XO, Pam

#6 for the little man? Wow, I know he will have a great birthday! Just told Ms. Footloose here that we have to go see Bobby Spencer in Back to Normal! The last time Allie saw him was during JB days when he sang happy birthday to her on stage for BC/EFA fund raiser I won on auction! Did I ever tell you my video camera battery died that day?? Oh well, it will still be a memory………
    Have fun out there!

I want to see those pix of Santa Monica Beach, Jennifer! Tim suggested he and I go there after our brunch two years back, but I declined, fearing some embarrassing photos might somehow make their way back to the JB Blog.

I was among the group of JB fans with Wanda and Pam (there were actually eleven of us) that saw Bobby and Alice in N2N. For several of us it was the second time, and even better the second time around. Gosh, I hope they do well with the Tony nom’s. It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy to have TWO Broadway hits.

After the play, the JB nite owls were guests of Jack Ong (TV actor) at Sardi’s. Glad Jack picked up or I would have needed bailout funds….no recession there!! (the food was luscious though) Actually, as we entered, JLY’s portrait was front and center!!

Remember those days I was so excited to get any attention at the JB stage door, Jennifer? Well, Angela Lansbury drove by in a limo, waved at my friend Priscilla (or so she thinks…..), and I still haven’t heard the end of it!! Now, only if Priscilla could have separated Sara from her cell phone as she exited the JB stage door–now that would have been the ultimate accomplishment!!

I know you’ll have a real class pizza party for Harrison’s big day! Please—not a place that sells slices!

Keep the updates coming, Jennifer….and have a wonderful, wonderful Mother’s Day!!
