LOTS TO BE THANKFUL FOR

FIRST OF ALL HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.

TIM AND I ARE GREATFUL FOR HARRISON, HIS GRANDPARENTS WHO TRUSTED US ENOUGH TO HAND HIM OVER TO OUR CARE FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE. TO DANIELLE GAUDIO, AND NIKI AND YVONNE FOR REASONS THEY KNOW.TO MY MOM AND DAD FOR GIVING ME LIFE ,AND THAN NURTURING AND ENCOURAGING ME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. SO THAT THE WOMAN I AM BECOMING/HAVE BECOME, IS A DIRECT RESULT OF THEIR LOVE, DISCIPLINE, PATIENCE AND HUMOR.

I’M GREATFUL FOR TIM. THE MAN MY PARENTS PRAYED I WOULD BE BLESSED WITH, FROM THE DAY I WAS IN THEIR WOMB. I CAN’T BELIEVE GOD GAVE ME HIM. HE MUST HAVE KNOWN I WOULD NEED A FAITH FILLED, LOVING, HUMOROUS, STEADY, HARD WORKING, JOYFUL SOUL TO PUT UP WITH ME. LOL

I’M THANKFUL FOR MY SISTERS AND BROTHER, JAN, JILL, JOEY, AND JODY, FOR BEING SUPPORTIVE OF MY CAREER, AND PATH, AND FOR ALLOWING ME TO FOLLOW MY DREAMS, WITH MY PARENTS BLESSING, TO LEAVE MICHIGAN AND PURSUE MY GIFTS. I’M SURE THEY HAVE HAD DREAMS AND I KNOW THEY’RE GIFTED, BUT CHOSE FAMILY, AND SACRIFICED THEIR AMBITIONS, AT LEAST FOR AWHILE, TO RAISE STRONG, LOVING, FAITH FILLED KIDS.

I’M GREATFUL FOR THE EDUCATION MY PARENTS GAVE ME, EVEN THO I HAD A FEW MEAN NUNS, BECAUSE THE DISCIPLINE AND DIRECTION AND EVEN REJECTION AND PRAISE I GARNERED HAS MADE ME TOUGHER AND MORE RESILIENT IN A BUSINESS THAT USUALLY SAYS ‘NO’ BEFORE YES.

I’M THANKFUL FOR MY GRANDPARENTS, WHO ARE NOW IN HEAVEN, FOR THE WAY THEY RAISED MY PARENTS, AND THE LOVE THEY COVERED ME WITH GROWING UP. I MISS ALL OF YOU.

I’M GREATFUL FOR ALL MY FAMILY EXTENDED AND MY NEW FAMILY ON TIMS SIDE WHO HAVE SUCH BIG HEARTS AND SUCH UNSHAKABLE FAITH.AND HAVE ALWAYS WELCOMED ME.

I’M GREATFUL FOR DARK MEAT, AND CRISPY SKIN ON TURKEY (AND CHKN).HAD TO THROW IN SOME HUMOR

I’M GREATFUL FOR ALL THE JOBS I’VE EVER HAD…ESPECIALLY JERSEY BOYS, THAT ALLOWED ME TO FINALLY ORIGINATE A ROLE, RECORD A CD, AND SHARE THE TONY’S AND TV PERFORMANCES WITH MY FAMILY.

AND THAT’S HOW I MET ALL OF YOU…SOME HAVE BECOME SUCH GREAT FRIENDS. AND I’M GREATFUL FOR THAT. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!

I’M GREATFUL THAT IVE BECOME A MOM…AND AM LEARNING EVERY SECOND HOW TO BE MORE LOVING, PATIENT AND HUMAN.

I’M GREATFUL NO ONE IS CORRECTING ME ON MY WRONG SPELLING OF GREATFUL.

I’M GREATFUL FOR EACH PERSON I’VE COME ACROSS, AND SORRY FOR THE ONES I SNUBBED, OR LOOKED AWAY FROM, OR IGNORED, OR PRETENDED I DIDN’T SEE, AND THANKFUL FOR THE TIMES I COULD BE NICE. I’M GREATFUL FOR MY LIFE. FOR GODS LOVE AND HELP…AND FOR A BIG APPETITE. LOVE YOU ALL AND EAT A LOT FOR ME…

I’M GREATFUL FOR MORE, BUT I GOTTA RUN NOW

    Dear Jen,Tim and Harrison,
It’s all about timing and I am so grateful that I was able to play an instrumantal part in changing your lives and Harrison’s forever in such a meaningful way. Everyone can make miracles happen if they Listen.(pay attention and listen to peoples needs and sometimes it can even be someone yo dont know very well) Dream.(believe in what you want to happen for yourself and for others) and Smile.(Show happiness smiles go a long way and can make someones day). I’m smiling now knowing that Harrison will be loved and cared for by two very special people. Happy Thanksgiving to all :)

Jen, I hope you know how truly GREAT you are and how grateful we all are that you’ve shared and continue to share your life with us!

    Hi Jennifer,

We hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Ours was great. As always, I ate too much, but loved every minute of it. I too have a bunch to be thankful for, our family, health & friends, especially ones like you.

We may not be getting updates on all of the JB’s happenings on your blog now, but are getting something better. A chance to share in the joy you, Tim & Harrison are living together.

Much love from chilly Staten Island, NY.

    XOXO,
    Stacey

    Hey Jennifer,

You have a lot to be grateful/greatful for! First of all, congratulations to you and to Tim on becoming parents to Harrison! He is such a cutie pie! Parenthood becomes you too! Your becoming a mother is truly you–love! I love the photos of Harrison with you two together and with each of his parental unit. The Spiderman on the ceiling–wow! I cannot believe that your sister painted it “so good,” as your son said.

I know you have been busy. So have I! I am taking a study break and will have to return to the studying for finals–two more weeks of school left! Will catch up with you another time and I know you have a lot of catching up to do with us your friends here. Much love to you and to your entire family this holiday season! You have so much to celebrate and to be greatful for!

    Much love,
    Tina

Beautiful post, Jen. I haven’t been on your site in a while, so belatedly wish you, Tim, and Harrison a happy Thanksgiving.

First, I am looking for a picture of Harrison with that souvenir I sent him from “across the pond”! You haven’t put it up on eBay yet, have you?? Actually, I did buy one for the age bracket above his, so he’d “grow” into it. And then when he wears it a few times and you put it through the hot water cycle, it should fit you perfectly!!

I like your last paragraph, but I’ve yet to see you ignore, run away, or pretend not to see or hear anyone. Indeed, the first time we spoke, I spotted you about ten feet in front of me by the August Wilson and yelled out. You turned around, looked me straight in the eye, and I’m certain your first inclination was to run as fast and far as you could! Instead you turned to meet me, asked my name, and we talked about the show. (Wondering if you regret now not having made that clean getaway while you had the opportunity! Let’s let that remain a rhetorical question!)

I’m happy you acknowledged Danielle above. She has helped so many of us in so many ways, big and small!!

All the best to you Jennifer. Trying to negotiate a trip out West after the New Year so I can introduce Harrison to The Original Pantry and show him what some really healthy eating is like!! (I don’t think they put flaxseed, broccoli, or oatbran in their flapjacks!!) Have a wonderful Christmas with Tim and Harrison!
