HELLO MUDDA, HELLO FATHA

WELL TODAY WAS A DAY OFF FROM SCHOOL FOR VETERANS DAY. SO WE STARTED THE DAY  HUNGRY, AS HARRISON HAD TO GET BLOOD TESTS AS PART OF THE NEW DOCTORS ORDERS. HE WAS SO BRAVE!!!!!! THEY TOOK OUT 3 VIALS OF BLOOD.THAN WE CAME HOME AND HAD CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES !! HIS FAVORITE AT IHOP. HOWEVER OUR VERSION HAS SWEET POTATO PUREE AND FLAX SEED MEAL HIDDEN INSIDE..WE’RE TRYING TO INTRODUCE VEGGIES AND FRUIT, SOME DAYS ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS. LOL

BUT HIS SENSE OF SMELL AND TASTE ARE PRETTY IMPECCABLE. WE DID MAKE RICE KRISPY TREATS TODAY TOGETHER (BROWN RICE CEREAL, AND MORE FLAX SEED MEAL) AND HE LOVES THEM, AND IS SO PROUD HE MADE THEM. WE THAN VISITED TIM AT THE HOSPITAL…NOW I’M BEING CALLED TO GET IN CAR…AS TIM IS HOME AND WE’RE GOING TO PARK…NO REST…IT’S ALL GREAT…PEACE OUT JENNIFER

Hello there MOM!! Exhausted MOM!! But I know you’re loving every minute of it! He’s such a cutie pie, Jen, and I can’t wait to meet him. Hang in there, his tastes will change at least he’s trying things! You guys are always in my prayers and I love seeing all of you via pics and videos! Keep those rice krispy treats coming, sounds like he’s having a blast making them and eating them! I love them myself! See you soon and love ya lots! Wanda

Sounds like the Morales family is having fun…I agree with Harrison though…not too sure about those pancakes made with sweet potato puree!

Just love the new pictures of you Tim and Harrison. You all look sooo HAPPY!!! You are certainly on the right track to get him eating different foods… letting him participate in the preparation…he feels he has accomplished something great and he’s so proud that he made it … then of course he has to eat what he made. I’ve done that with my nephews and our neighbor’s children. Maybe you want to check out “The Sneaky Chef: Simple Strategies for Hiding Healthy Foods in Kids’ Favorite Meals”. Jody reminded me that it was just one year ago yesterday that she and I met, for that matter it was the first time I met most of the JB Fans and the wonderful Rick Elice… and it was all because of YOU… at Your First Cabaret, which was sooo wonderful. Think I’ll go look for some YouTube videos of that night.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful times with us. Savor every moment with Tim and Harrison.

    Jen,
Ok, I’m impressed! My daughter (now 17) still thinks ketchup is a vegetable! Flaxseed????? Wow! That’s good stuff!
    Enjoy!

As Dr. Oz on Oprah said….don’t forget you need to crush the flaxseed or it doesn’t do you any good.

Sounds like you all are enjoying making good family memories, but I think I’d rather sit at the kids table and eat regular chocolate chip pancakes with Harrison & leave the flaxseed to you and Tim, LOL! You’re a good Mom and a good friend, also. I met Norene & John, and Audrey & Howard & Beverly through your show Journey to the Jersey Boys! You watch out over everyone! Enjoy the holidays…I’ll know the Thanksgiving prayer at the Morales house will be especially meaningful this year. God bless, Lulu
