I FEEL THE EARTH , MOVE, UNDER MY FEET
Comments(7) LITERALLY!!!!!!! WE WERE IN THE MIDDLE OF REHEARSING ,AT THE END OF THE DAY??? NOW I CAN’T REMEMBER , AND IN THIS HUGE SPACE IN A HUGE CHURCH AND THE GROUND LITERALLY STARTED MOVING UNDER US, LIKE A SUBWAY HAD JUST PASSED UNDERNEATH OUR FEET, OR SOMEONE HAD TAKEN EACH END OF THE STAGE AND DID ‘THE WAVE’ WITH IT. IT TOOK ME A MOMENT TO PROCESS, ‘WAS THAT AN EARTHQUAKE? AM I IN NYC OR LA? OH, LA! OK TIME TO RUN” I WAITED TO SEE IF ANOTHER MVMT WOULD HAPPEN THAN RAN LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL UNDER THE DOOR FRAMES OF THIS PLACE, AND REALIZED 37 CAST MEMBERS, AND CREW AND STAFF WE’RE BEHIND ME,AND RAN OUT, LOOKED UP AND SAW POWER LINE, AND RAN TO THE HUGE, OPEN SPACE PARKING LOT..WHERE NOTHING COULD FALL ON ME, US. THE WHOLE CAST CAME OUT TOO. AND WE STOODÂ THERE FOR A MOMENT AND MAYBE AFTER 2 MINUTES, RICHARD JAY SAID ‘ OK I THINK IT’S SAFE” WE WENT BACK IN. HE TOLD US AN AMAZING STORY OF WHEN THE TOUR WAS OPENING IN SAN FRAN AND THE HUGE QUAKE HAPPENED, AND THEY ACTUALLY PERFORMED THAT NIGHT,A ND IT WAS SOLD OUT, AND IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST PERFORMANCES THEY EVER HAD..CUZ LIFE TOOK ON A WHOLE NEW MEANING, AND EVERYONE ,THE AUDIENCE AND CAST HAD SHARED SOMETHING TOGETHER”
WE THAN WENT ON,BUSINESS AS USUAL…AND I UNDERSTOOD..’THE SHOW REALLY DOES GO ON’
PS TIM WENT INTO WORK A LATER SHIFT, AND SAID HE WAS EATING AND OUR TABLE STARTLED SHAKING ,AND RUMBLING AND MY BROADWAY SIGN AND SOME JERSEY BOYS FRAMED ART FELL OVER…BUT WE ARE ALL SAFE THANK GOD..

Glad to hear that you, Tim & the whole cast are ok. I was thinking of you all day & this is the first time I got online. It’s been a bit crazy here today too. Diana had another seizure this morning, but is ok not…no hospital visit this time, but we will be setting up tests to determine the cause.
Also getting Pete ready for his 3 day trip out to the coast. He is doing a private gig in Sacramento with the “Really Big Shew”. Can you send a few of your angels there to watch over him until friday? I’m crossing my fingers that there are no other earthquakes anywhere in CA durung his trip.

PRAISE GOD AND YOUR GUARDIAN ANGELS JEN!!! Was so concerned when I heard about the quake on the radio this morning. Never even got to go on line or turn the tv on last evening to hear any of it. So happy that Les Miz is going well and you’re having a blast! Be safe, my friend, and NO MORE QUAKES!!! I so hope there aren’t any when I come out to visit….way to scary for a girl from the Berkshires (that’s just fancy for “cow country”! LOL!!! Love ya!!! Wanda

Jen, so sweet of you to keep us all informed during your busy life, Thank God that you, your family and those on the West coast did not seem to suffer any physical damage from the earthquake…slightly higher blood pressure and mini-panic attacks don’t count, LOL. I am so glad you are enjoying the Les Mis experience and re-connecting with old friends. And performing with that orchestra must be so exhilarating! I saw Jersey Boys last Saturday. I can’t tell you how much I missed you and JLY. Enjoy your time together in Les Mis. You have so many fans coming to see you and they are bringing best wishes from us that can’t attend.
