SUFFICE IT TO SAY FOR NOW, WE CHATTED WITH FRANKIE FOR ABOUT A HALF HOUR AT HIS SOUND CHECK(AS HE WAS THE EVENING’S ENTERTAINMENT) AND WE WERE WITNESS TO PHOTOGRAPHER/CELEBRITY PAPARAZZI RAZZ MAZZ TAZZ…
BUT FIRST, I WANTED TO CONGRATULATE ERICA PICCININI ON HER RUN AS LORRAINE ON BWAY…SHE’S THE 2ND OF US GIRLS TO LEAVE…BUT THE GOOD/GREAT NEWS IS HEATHER FERGUSON IS TAKING OVER AS LORRAINE STARTING TUESDAY…I’M SO HAPPY FOR HEATHER. SHE HAS FLAWLESSLY COVERED EACH OF THE 3 GIRLS TRACKS AND ROLES HERE ON BWAY, AND EVEN TWICE IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION LEARNED AND WENT ON ON THE ROAD WITH 1 DAY REHEARSAL…SHE’S FANTASTIC AS AN ACTRESS, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY TO ME, A FRIEND.
I WISH YOU ALL COULD SEE THE PRICELESS SCRAPBOOK SHE MADE FOR ME AS A GOING AWAY GIFT. SHE WORKED ON IT OVER 4 WEEKS, WHILE TAKING COLLEGE COURSES, AND DOING THE SHOW, ..AND IT COVERS MY JOURNEY FROM LA JOLLA, TO BWAY..IT’S A COFFEE TABLE EYE CATCHER..THAT IS BEAUTIFUL..AND EACH TIME I CRY OR LAUGH, OR SEE SOMETHING NEW AND NUANCED THAT IGNITES A MEMORY…
ALRIGHT CHEER HER ON…AND CONGRATS TO THE VEGAS CAST…WE SAW FRANKIE ON FRIDAY NIGHT, AND HE WAS TO CATCH A PLANE FOR OPENING THE NEXT NIGHT…AND I KNOW TIM AND I DIDN’T LEAVE TILL CLOSE TO 1 AM, AND HE WAS ALSO HAVING HIS BDAY ON SATURDAY…LOVE TO YOU ALL…MORE DETAILS ABOUT GALA COMING…
So awesome Jen!! Can’t wait for details, my friend! I’m so very happy for Heather and wish Erica much luck and happiness in her new ventures! Heather is going to be awesome and I can’t wait to see her as Lorraine. Glad you got to visit with Frankie before the show AND I hope you took lots of pics of you and Tim!! Sounds like you are having a wonderful time. Looking forward to hearing more on everything. The scrapbook sounds really wonderful and such a loving gift for you. I had already read about Erica leaving on the JB’s blog yesterday..wishing her all the best. I read she & her hubby will be living in CA…hope you all can visit once they settle in. Best of luck to Heather. She will be fantastic.
I expect Peter’s school pictures soon. So I’ll send you one. I’ll also include some from his b-day(4/13)-he turned 8 and Diana’s b-day (5/4)-she turned 10. Her b-day is the day before Frankie’s.

OO! Sounds like lots of fun. Thats sad that Erica is leaving, she is such a talented, charming, beautiful actress. I wish her all the best in what is to come. Congratulations to Heather! She must be very excited! All the cast of the NYC Jersey Boys is changing, but with other amazing actresses and actors.
