WELL I MUST SAY THE HOTEL WHERE I’M STAYING IS LOVELY. THE PRODUCERS PUT ME IN A SUITE, FOR MY LAST WEEK HERE. THE STAFF IS AMAZING. THE SERVICE IMPECCABLE. THEY EVEN HAVE A LOVELY BAR TO THE SIDE THAT SERVES WHITE TRUFFLE OIL, PARMESAN SPRINKLED CHEESE POPCORN, POLENTA FRIES, BLUEBERRY MARTINIS, AND LIVE JAZZ. HOWEVER I HAVEN’T ENGAGED IN THAT…SINCE I’M NOT A SOLO DRINKER. THEY ALSO HAVE A CAPPUCCINO/LATTE/AMERICANO MACHINE 23 HOURS IN THEIR LIBRARY ROOM WITH NOOKS AND CRANNYS AND NEWSPAPERS AND BOOKS LINING THE SHELVES. AND A 24 GYMNASIUM…I LOVE IT.
IT’S LIKE BEING ON TOUR AGAIN, ALTHOUGH I’M SO DISORIENTED WALKING HOME AFTER THE SHOW IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DIRECTION. LEAVING MY ROOM YESTERDAY, I BUMPED INTO A WONDERFUL ACTRESS ON THE SAME FLOOR AND WE WALKED TOGETHER FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES. AS SHE EXPLAINED THE UPS AND DOWNS OF LIVING AND WORKING IN LA, AS SHE IS A NYC GIRL BUT UPROOTED TO LA FOR TV. GUESS WHO??? JUDITH LIGHT AKA (ONE LIFE TO LIVE, WHO’S THE BOSS? UGLY BETTY) SHE WAS LOVELY AND HAD SEEN JBOYS AND LOVED IT.
I SAW THE 1ST ACT OF CANDIDE WITH OUR BELOVED DANIEL REICHARD. HE SOUNDS GLORIOUS AND LOOKS IT, IN A SCENE WHERE HE TAKES OFF HIS SHIRT. CATCH HIM IF YOU CAN AT LINCOLN CENTER.
YESTERDAY WAS THE PUT IN REHEARSAL FOR MY REPLACEMENT BRIGID BERGER…I DIDN’T HAVE TO BE THERE, OBVIOUSLY..SO IT WAS WEIRD COMING TO THE SHOW A BIT..KNOWING MY DAYS WERE NUMBERED, AS SHE IS FOLLOWING ME BACKSTAGE TO LEARN THE TRAFFIC AND COSTUME AND WIG CHANGES (17)…
I JUST WANTED TO THANK ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE STOPPED BY TO SAY GOODBYE OR SENT ME GIFTS (WHICH YOU DO NOT EVER HAVE TO DO, AS BUYING A TKT TO THE SHOW IS ENOUGH). THANK YOU. I’M COMING OUT OF MY DENIAL STAGE, AND ACCEPTING THAT I’M ALMOST DONE…IT’S VERY BITTERSWEET.
Oh Jen, enjoy your last two days!! I so wish I could be there to see you one last time. I’ll be thinking about you Sunday afternoon!!!

Jen and I loved seeing you today. We love you Jen and hope you have a safe trip home!
Enjoy tomorrow!
Love ya, Jody
Jen! I have been so incredibly busy lately with school and work and had absolutely no idea that you were leaving! I’m so upset that I didn’t find out sooner. If I get finished with work in time tomorrow I’ll try to come to the stage door and say goodbye. I can’t believe you’re leaving!
I hope to see you if I can tomorrow; if not, I hope your trip home is a safe one, and that you have a wonderful time there! We’ll miss you from NY, and I know I’ll miss you from JB.
Love,
Elle
Hey Jen,
It’s 3:45am in Vegas and I was just thinking about your last day tomorrow (well actually today)…trying to figure out if I took the first flight out could I make it to the AW by 3pm….unfortunately logistically it’s not feasible.
I know it will be an emotional day…..wonderful memories to last a lifetime.
All My Love & Blessings,
Charly
Wow that popcorn and blueberry martini sound right up my alley. Can you name the hotel?
Enjoy your last show today, Jen, but enjoy the next wonderful stage of your life even more.
Love,
Melissa
Hi Jen,
I can’t believe that today is the DAY. JB will have to say goodbye to their beloved Mary and the even more loved Jennifer. I wish we could be there to see you one last time on stage or stop by the stage door to give you a last hug. Well that can’t be, so I will keep my birthday memories there instead.
So it sounds like the hotel you are in is fabulous. Since you may not be able to say…can you give us a hint which it is? Next time you & Tim want a get-away for your anniversary, that could be the place.
Enjoy your last show today & remember that you are loved by a TON of people. All of those who have seen you in JB’s and all of your fellow castmates. If you are staying in NYC for a little while this week, ENJOY!, ENJOY!, ENJOY!
Remember that you don’t have to fit into any costumes so go & enjoy that popcorn, fries & martinis with Tim.
We wish you both all the best & send you much love as you move onto this next phase of your lives. You will be fantastic parents.
Have a safe trip back home & we will be in touch. Here are some hugs we wish we could give you in person…{{{{{{{{JENNIFER}}}}}}}}},
{{{{{{{{{JENNIFER}}}}}}}}}},{{{{{{{{{{JENNIFER}}}}}}}}},{{{{{{{{{{{{{{JENNIFER}}}}}}}}}}}}…….One from each of us is all I can fit here, but know that there are plenty more being sent your way.
So for the last time in JB’S….Break A Leg!!
Love always,
Stacey, Pete, Diana & Peter
Thinking about you a lot today. I hope you have a great last day. We’ll miss you!
Love,
Kathleen
I am looking at my watch today and thinking of you going on stage about now. I am sure that it will be an emotional performance and enjoy each moment today. The picture of your Mary and John’s Frankie is imprinted in my mind. Love, Gayle
Jen,
Like everyone else, I was thinking about you this entire weekend. I will remember the last good-by hug I gave you last weekend. I picked a good performance to attend with JLY and Alision there also to honor your last days in JB. Seeing JB will not be the same without you there…I am glad I got to know you and I always will remember the times you waved to me in the audience during the last number in JB and the times we chatted at the stage door. That was the best!! Have a safe trip home, and please keep your blog up to date, so we can stay in touch and know the exciting things that will be happening in your future.
I miss you already…. That. Is. All.
Jennifer, my sweet friend, What can I say? The show yesterday and last evening will be forever in my heart, along with so many other wonderful memories! Enjoy today with Tim in the city that’s going to miss you so very much. Tomorrow, the sunny sky of CA! The journey has begun and God will guide you all the way! You’re the best and there are other incredible roles in your future I just know it! Love you tons and see you in LA for sure!!! Love, Wanda
Jen,
Lots of your fans were in Vegas this weekend for the Palazzo opening of Jersey Boys. At the after party, which occurred at 10:00 P.M. Vegas time, when hopefully you were sleeping, you must have been dreaming about the wonderful things that were being said about you. It wasn’t a dream. Throughout the party, often the conversation turned to you – what a wonderful role you played, what an incredible person you are and how we will all miss you.
Please stay in touch, Jen. We love you. Irene Eizen
Jen
All the best to you in your new adventure. Getting to know you has been a pleasure. Please do keep you blog up to date. Sharon
Jen,
My heart and thoughts were with you yesterday, and I know it was a very special day for you. As Irene said, all of us in Vegas were thinking about you, and sending warm thoughts. You are the best, and will be so missed, both on stage and off.May your new journey be as wonderful for you as this one.I’m with you all the way, girlfriend. Love you, Pam
JEN!!!
Much love and best wishes for LA!! Much love Kevin
Jen, I know you feel the love and respect we all have for you. We saw it in the smile on your face at the stage door and where ever we ran into you in NY! You have given us lovely memories, hours of entertainment, and joy as you expanded personal relationships through thoughtful emails, surprise visits at lunch, recognition and friendship. The pictures I sent you are bookends for the experiences you shared as an OBC cast member…the first fan gathering (at Tower Records on Nov. 17, 2005) and the last fan gathering (BC/EFA Fan Gathering at the Marriott on October 21, 2007) with the original cast. Those were my fondest memories. I know you have so many more. Treasure them and remember “Who Loves You” . . . JB fans!
OH MY GOSH
I THOUGHT I WAS DONE CRYING THANKYOU EVERYONE..I’LL WRITE YOU BACK..A BIT LATER…XOXOXOXOXO,,,ME
