RAINY DAYS AND SNOWY NIGHTS

WHEN IS SPRING COMING? NO, I KNOW WE’VE HAD A VERY MILD WINTER…EVEN THOUGH I GREW UP IN MICHIGAN AND LIVED IN NYC FOR 17 YEARS..I STILL DON’T LIKE IT. I’M A WUSS…I LIKE THE SUN. I THINK I HAVE “SAD” SEASONAL ADD??? DISORDER…MAYBE I’LL GO TO A TANNING BOOTH? DOES THAT HELP?

ANYWAY..LIFE IS GOOD AT JBOYS. OUR DIRECTOR, DES, WAS HERE A BIT AGO…AND WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SHOW AND IT WAS SO WONDERFUL HAVING NOTES AGAIN, AND ESPECIALLY HIM SEEING THE NEW MEMBERS AND GUIDING THEM WITH THE ORIGINAL INTENTIONS OF THE SHOW…AND KEEPING US IN SHAPE AND FOCUSED ON JUST TELLING THE WONDERFUL STORY.

ALRIGHT OFF TO TWO SHOWS…BYE

    Hey Jen,

Glad all is well at JB’s. Can’t wait to see you & the gang on the 20th. Remember that we will be at the 8pm show. Do you stay near the theater between shows? Or run home for a few? I know you have a limited time between shows for resting & dinner etc. If you would like to stop by & say hi before the second show, we are having dinner at Gallagher’s. Our reservations are for 5:30. Keep warm & dry over the next few days. Talk to you soon.

    XOXO,
    Stacey

    Jennifer,
I’ll do my best to send some of our Florida sun- shine up your way.

On a funny side note, I was watching “Oprah” yesterday and guess who was on it…David Cassidy! And he sang “I think I love you”. I immediately thought of you. The women in the audience were FREAKING out. It was pretty funny.

    Have a great week.

    Jennifer,
I totally agree with your sentiment about the weather. The ONE night I needed to be in the city was last night and you know only too well how awful it was then. I don’t know what was worse: slopping through gross puddles or the bus delays. I’m this close to heading to a tanning bed too!

Ugh, do NOT complain about the weather to me. It has been in the negatives up here in the Northernmost part of NY that all you city folk forget exists. It just keeps snowing and I cannot figure out whether it is better to track through a foot of snow OR slide around on the plowed parts that just unveil the ice underneath. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve fallen, it’s quite ridiculous. My car keeps getting stuck in the parking lot… it’s just a mess. I’ll end my rant because I did choose to come to school up here, do not ask me why but I did!

Anyways, good to hear JB is going well. A friend of mine in Cleveland emailed me all excited that the tour will be there soon. I’d go if I had any clue what will be going on in my life come June. Which reminds me, I have an interview Friday March 7th for a real grown up job in the city so hopefully I’ll be able to see you.

Well, stay upbeat, don’t let the winter blues kick in like that have with me, clearly. PS… Don’t fake bake!

Hey, funny timing, I google and find you right about the time you are blogging about growing up in Michigan! :-) It’s been a long time, but I’ve seen you here and there, on the Today Show, in Grease (back in GR I think — I’ve moved away, too, but I think it was during one of my visits back home), then on the credits of the JB cast recording (which we love!). Its great to see you doing so well! :-) I’ll be in NYC late April (weekend of the 26th), shoot me an email if you’re interested in getting together and catching up!

Spring is right around the corner…for us in Florida, anyway (sorry, that doesn’t do you much good). My sister lives in Chicago, and has that seasonal thing. Her doctor actually wrote her a prescription for a tanning booth – can you believe that?

Cheer up – it will get better soon!

    Aunt Jennifer,

I totally hear your about the Seasonal Sadness…ick it doesn’t help that we have an extra day this month either! haha Uncle Tim thinks we’re the luckiest to have snow, I don’t think he’d be singing the same tune if he had to drive in it and bear the frigidness for 3 Monthes or more…65* sounds lovely….ah spring…love-ya

Ahhhh yes…poor sister….temps here as high as 7 degrees on good days here. Every time I work at the airport I get at least five inches of snow. But Ikeep those runways open, LOL. Wish Tim were here, he’d be loving this and probably be shoveling mom, dads and my driveway (EVERYDAY). We are already have up to 85 inches of snow…you are the lucky one! Hey and I see Len Johnson wrote you, cool. Enjoy the heat. Jody

    Hey Jen!

I know a lot about SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder). I had to write a report on it. There is some things that you can do, including get a light box, which emits a certain amount of light which stimulates your brain into thinking that you receieved sunshine. There are numerous other approaches, though.

Glad things are still nice at JB.

    Talk to you later,
    A
