Comments(15) DANIEL’S GOING AWAY PARTY WAS FABULOUS. IT WAS AFTER OUR SUNDAY MATINEE. WE ALL THOUGHT HIS LAST SHOW WAS SUNDAY BUT IT’S THIS WEDNESDAY. EVERYONE CAME. THE 4 SEASONS BOYS (INCL DANIEL) AND RICK ELICE PAID FOR EVERYTHING..AND WHEN YOU INVITE EVERY CAST MEMBER, STAGEHANDS,CREW,WARDROBE,HAIR DPT, MUSICIANS, ETC…THAT CAN BE A HEFTY PRICE..BUT THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT EVENING. TIM WENT HOME FRIDAY SO MY DATE WAS WANDA..AND WE HAD SUCH FUN.
BOBBY,CHRISTIAN THAN DANIEL GAVE SPEECHES THAT WERE SO MOVING AND FUNNY ABOUT BEGINNING THIS JOURNEY OVER 3 YEARS AGO IN LA JOLLA…I REMEMBER IT LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY. DANIEL ‘S DRESSING ROOM IS RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO THE GIRLS ,SO WE HEAR HIM WARMING UP ,AND CONSTANTLY SINGING AND HIS PRESENCE OFF STAGE IS WHAT I’LL MISS SO MUCH.
SEBASTIAN BROUGHT HIS LOVELY WIFE STEPHANIE TO THE PARTY. WE’RE REALLY EXCITED HE’S JOINING US.IT WAS SO MOVING WHEN ALL THE JB FANS GAVE DANIEL 3 SEPARATE ENTRANCE APPLAUSES…HE WAS THRILLED AND BROUGHT TO TEARS.
BEFORE THE SHOW I MET UP WITH THE GANG AT B SMITHS. THEY ARE A GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT SUPPORT US AND ENCOURAGE US ON A DAILY BASIS AND I’M SO GRATEFUL FOR EACH ONE OF YOU. PAMELA IS HEADING UP THESE BRUNCHES AND MAYBE SHE SHOULD BE MY AGENT..LOL. ANYWAY ENJOY THE PHOTOS…

Aww, you got me tearing up. It’s such a joy to see from the outside how close you all are as a cast. Sounds like a great send off for him.
JEN, IT WAS A GREAT EVENING, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ASKING ME, I’LL BE YOUR DATE ANYTIME!! IT WAS A VERY EMOTIONAL TO BE IN THE AUDIENCE THAT AFTERNOON AND KNOW THAT IT WAS THE LAST TIME I’D SEE DANIEL AS BOB GAUDIO. THE PARTY WAS FULL OF EMOTION AS WELL, BUT THERE WAS SO MUCH LOVE AND “FAMILY” IN THAT ROOM YOU COULDN’T HELP BUT SMILE AND FEEL GOOD! CHANGE IT GOOD, THOUGH DIFFICULT! THANKS AGAIN MY DEAR FRIEND!! Well, I am sad to see Daniel leaving but happy to know that his party was great! Glad you had a fun time with Wanda (she’s such a sweetheart!).
So, I wish I could go to one of Pamela’s get togethers–I hear they are tons of fun!

Jen, the pictures and your recap of Daniel’s party were great. Thanks for taking the time to share with the JB fans who couldn’t attend the brunch…everyone that was there was so grateful (and very impressed!) that you came by to visit. I am floating on cloud 9 because I am finally coming to NYC to see Jersey Boys again. It’s been a year since I’ve seen the show and I can’t wait. I’ll be there Tuesday night, Jan 15th, so look for me because I’ll be looking for you, LOL!I’m also going to Christian’s cabaret at the Metropolitan Room and will meet up with Audrey & Dina & a few more JB fans. Sounds like a great time, and you had a great “date” besides. Daniel really deserves it. He will be missed, but I’m looking forward to seeing Sebastian’s take on the role. Can I ask where the party was held?
