SOON AND VERY SOON

Hi everyone. I really feel we’ll be back to work this Tuesday. I feel so bad for all the people who bought tickets, found deals on airlines, hotels, rearranged their vacations…but soon all will be back in play. I’m hoping Tuesday so that at least I can do 2 more shows with JLY. I can’t believe he’s leaving…my heart is sad…I’m happy for Michael L…but it feels like we now shift into a whole different mode..that’s the way this business is. You become a tight knit family, than someone leaves the nest, you mourn, you fuss, you wail, and you have to go on…and on we do.

We have reported in every show and we sign in and stand by our local stagehands union on the picket line…and we say hello also to our producers who come by…It’s a bit awkward but we are a big family…I’ve really had a nice opportunity to talk with our stagehands, and wardrobe, and ushers, etc..that I don’t get to visit with while we perform. Their families have come by to support them. JT, a big bear of love, strolled to different Bway shows with his down home band, and played Union songs.

THere’s been frustration but also so much camaraderie, and a thankfulness for having a job and being able to do what we love. I think everyone will be filled with renewed joy to be able to perform in whatever capacity..in what I believe will be Tuesday night ..

P.S. SELFISHLY…IT WAS A WEEK AGO TONIGHT, I DID THE CABARET..AND I HAVE KEPT ALL YOUR EMAILS..AND HAVE EVEN PRINTED SOME THAT WILL BE PART OF A KEEPSAKES FOR LIFE, (MY MOM’S AN ARTIST AND SHE’S GATHERING ALL THE MEMORABILIA I RECEIVED AND CREATING SOMETHING FOR ME, FOR CHRISTMAS).

I CAN’T THANK EACH OF YOU ENOUGH FOR THE SUPPORT, LOVE, AND JOY YOU GAVE ME. IF I FORGOT TO MENTION ANYONE’S NAME, PLEASE FORGIVE ME…LOVE JEN

Hey there girl, I have a strong feeling in my heart too that you will be back to work on Tuesday. What a very difficult time for all involved, especially since you’re all a tight knit family, but, all families have disagreements, just not quite this huge!! I know how hard it will be for you with JLY leaving and shifting gears, but you can do it, like you said, and you all will. I’ll see you soon on the August Wilson stage once again in the very near future. And as far as the cabaret goes, you just need to start putting together cabaret No. 2! And I love the fact that you’ve saved your emails, how sweet and what wonderful memories. Love you, Wanda

I appreciate your optimism, I so hope you are able to get back to the theater for real on Tuesday! I’m just glad that I had the opportunity to see you last Sunday and share in the excitement of your WONDERFUL show. You have such an awesome spirit and love for your family, friends and fans – it’s so clearly evident to us. God Bless you, Jen. We love you! (Now I’m going to be a little selfish…I hope I get to see you perform with JLY for the last time on Wednesday! If not, I certainly hope I can see you sometime next week.)

Hey Jennifer, I hope your woman’s intuition is on target about Tuesday. I think there would be some dancin’ in the streets. I hope you’ve been able to take this time to rest up and do some fun things that you normally wouldn’t be able to do. Have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving and keep smiling.

    Hi Jennifer,

Let me add our wishes that you & JLY get to do that last show together. I know I said it before, but thanks you again for taking the time back in Feb to introduce Pete & I to John at the stage door. We had seen both Dominic & Michael covering for John our first two trips to JB’s. Both were fantastic, but we wanted to see John as Frankie. I’m glad we did & got to meet him. So my friend, thanks again for the introduction.

I know it will be different after John leaves, but it isn’t like they have cast someone totally new to the cast to play Frankie. Michael is and will be fabulous as Frankie. My only question now is…Who will be playing Joey?

Have a very Happy & Healthy Thanksgiving & don’t eat too much.

    Love ya,
    Stacey & family
