Comments(10) EVEN THOUGH I’M ABOUT TO REPORT TO THEATRE, WE’RE ON STRIKE. BUT THE CABARET IS ON…FOR THOSE WITH RESERVATIONS…YOU HAVE SEATS, IT’S RESERVED…IT’S NOT A MAD RUSH TO ANY SEAT…SO IF YOU CHANGE RESERVATIONS OR TABLE HOP…LET THEM KNOW AT LAURIE BEECHMAN ..SO OTHERS CAN COME AND SEE IT FROM THE CAST…I CAN’T WAIT..TO SEE YOU ALL THERE..THANK YOU ..IT WILL BE A CELEBRATION..LOVE JENNIFER

Sorry to hear that JB’s will be cancelled. But at the same time glad your cabaret will still go on. Happy that all of your work wasn’t for nothing. Break a leg!!!!!

So sorry Buz and I were not able to make it tonight, Jen. I have been reading the bulletin board and some people in attendance have been posting about how fantastic your show is. You are so talented and such a great person.

Jennifer, I just loved your salute to the music we all grew up with. Your “Leader of the Pack” paid great homage to the Shangri-La’s, leather jacket and all. Your choreography on the Partridge Family’s “I Think I Love You” was marvelous–move over, David Cassidy.
One of my very favorite singers in college (although I wouldn’t dare admit it…had to say “Grateful Dead”, “Ten Years After”, etc.) was Helen Reddy, and a song we never hear much any more was her #1 smash “Angie Baby.” You brought it into the current millennium with a haunting version that gave us all goose bumps.
And perhaps a third #1 is in store for Bob Crewe’s “Lady Marmalade”–first Patti LaBelle, then Christina Aguilera, followed by Jennifer Naimo. Record producers??
Your tributes to Karen Carpenter (”Top of the World”), Anne Murray (”You Needed Me”) and Barbra Streisand (from “A Star is Born”) were exceptional. And your trademark “Movin’ On Up” had us all clapping and cheering with George and Weezie in mind. Rosemary Clooney’s “Come-on-a-My House” took me back to the “Hit Parade”–with your distribution of candy a wonderful added twist. Your prolonged standing ovation was well-deserved.
The Jersey Boys cast, who were all so proud of you: JLY, Travis, Michael, Tituss, Dom, Heather, Erica, Daniel, Peter and Rick (hope I didn’t miss anyone), cheered the loudest. And it was great seeing your beaming Tim with your supportive family and a huge cadre of fans.
Finally, you were so gracious to chat with and take pictures with every last fan. You made a lasting memory for all of us tonight, Jen. Thank you so much.

Joe and I loved your show. You Go Girl! You are always fabulous in whatever you do. We got the opportunity to talk to Tim while standing in line downstairs and Joe chatted with him. What a dynamite man you have my dear!
