CABARET IS COMING ALONG
Comments(7) HOPEFULLY AFTER THIS WEEKEND I’LL KNOW WHEN ANYONE WHO WANTS CAN CALL FOR RESERVATIONS TO MY CABARET. I HAVE ABOUT 1000 POSTCARDS ONLY BECAUSE THAT WAS THE SAME PRICE AS 200 lol…IT WILL BE AT THE LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (WEST BANK CAFE) ON 42 ND AND 9TH AVE , NOVEMBER 11, SUNDAY NIGHT 9 30 …I WILL POST THE PHOTO OF MY POSTCARD AND THE NUMBER HOPEFULLY BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEK.
LAST NIGHT ON LEAVING MANDY PATINKIN AND HIS WIFE KATHRYN, WERE THERE TO GREET US..WHAT A PLEASURE..WHAT A GREAT LOOKING COUPLE THEY ARE, AND SO GRACIOUS..AND A TOTAL SURPRISE..HAVING HIM OUT THERE. I LOVE WHEN CELEBS STOP BY AFTER..SOME DON’T ..MAYBE THEIR SHY OR HAVE DINNER PLANS…WHO KNOWS…
I HAD TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY OFF. I WAS IN DETROIT TAPING “THE CHOICES WE FACE” .A TV SHOW THAT’S BEEN ON 25 YEARS ,AND EVEN INTERNATIONALLY SEEN.THEY ASKED ME ABOUT MY FAITH , AND BEING IN THE ARTS …AND HAD ME SING ACAPPELLA…A BIT FROM PAST SHOWS..LES MIZ AND BIG RIVER.
IT WAS A FANTASTIC ,WHIRLWIND.I GOT TO SEE MY MOM AND DAD THOUGH, WHO CAME TO THE TAPING. AND SAT IN THEIR HOTEL ROOM WITH THEM MONDAY NIGHT, AND WATCHED DANCING WITH THE STARS…AND AFTER THE TAPING WE WENT TO A NEAT MEXICAN RESTAURANT WHERE I ASSUMED THE SIN OF GLUTTONY, BY SCARFING DOWN NACHOS AND CHIPS AND GUAC…HEY I DIDN’T HAVE TO PUT ON MY COSTUMES THAT NIGHT…MORE TO COME

Nice that you got to spend some time with your parents, even if you were working. Do you have any idea if the show you did will run in the NY area?
Sorry to say that I don’t think we can make your Cabaret. Pete’s work has picked up, we are having some problems with baby sitters & I have a retirement party only days before your show. Can’t get someone to watch the kids each night…but working on it. We’ll see.
Still narrowing down a date to come see the show again. I’ll let you know exactly when. We have to go out for Mexican food…I love loaded nachos etc.

I don’t think I’ll be able to come to the caberet (my roommate backed out). Grrr I was really looking foward to coming.
I find it amazing thatwe both were in the Detroit airport around the same time on Monday. Just think we could have run into each other…crazy!!

The cabaret sounds like so much fun…and so much work! I hope to see you at the BC/EFA fundraiser on Sunday night. Bring your postcards!The room will be packed with JB fans…and we support “the girls” as much as we do “the boys!”
