Five hour rehearsal with Sergio

Well, I just got home and have to head back to the show. We worked with Sergio for five hours today changing a few things in the choreography. Now I’ve been in this show since La Jolla and so it’s going to take me a bit to get this into my body…since my best dancing is done with a gun to my head, but it was actually fun. The whole cast and Sergio were in great spirits. He thought the show looked pretty good except for a few tweaks. Bobby ‘s wife Jennylyn and Geddy came by as did Jack Noseworthy and their friends from Mexico…I believe the actresses’ names were both Angelica and one is on the Spanish version of Ugly Betty and the other is their Meryl Streep equivalent. Very nice and saw the show four times already.
I’m also writing to tell everyone I can’t seem to reply to any of my emails…my computer expertise is on par with my dancing…so give me time to bring it in to get it fixed and know I’m not ignoring any of you. Also, GLENN CLOSE came to the show again last night with her new husband. He brought about 30 people from his job who work at an amazing pharmaceutical company in NJ…She is tiny, beautiful and her enthusiasm and joy fill the entire theatre. Such a pleasure to talk with her again…OK off to tonights show and try as I may I’m going to remember some of the new choreography…
Wow. 5 hours of new choreography. Is it just the ensemble or the entire cast?
But, I am excited about the new choreography. Knowing you, I am sure you will get it down in no time! I am glad I will be able to see the new dancing next week.
Glenn Close! That had to be very exciting. That is cool that her husband brought 30 people. Jersey Boys is popular.
Hmm. That stinks about the computer problem. I wish I could help but I am not too smart with computers.

Thats so cool Glenn Close was there with her husband. It really must be awesome meeting all these celebrities.
So have you heard about the Jersey Boys billboard that made an appearence in Spiderman 3 , and my mom and I were watching The Sopranos this past Sunday and Jersey Boys was mentioned, me and my mom thought it was so cool they mentioned it.Jersey Boys is everywhere!lol But thats a very good thing.Ok,so after the show tonight relax,you need it.Talk to you soon.

Glad to hear that things are going well. I know you will get all of the new steps down with no problem. Wow Glenn Close, that must have been so cool.
I always check out the crowd before the show starts to see what celebs may be around. The night we were there with Peter, we had the Snapple Lady..Wendy Kaufman & her husband sitting two rows in front of us. In chatting with her, it turned out she & Pete know some of the same comics. Both she & her husband were very nice.
The kids are doing well & we all send our love.
Did you ever get to watch Pete’s dvd? He will have a new one out soon if you would like a copy.

Thank goodness I can reply at least here. It’s subtle new choreography..which sometimes is more difficult after having a move in your body for so long. BUt it made the show fun and challenging in a new way. see ya soon.jen

Yep I woke up today sore! LOL but it was fun. No I didn’t know that about the SPiderman movie..Awesome ANd Sopranos..I wish I had HBO. I’m subletting here in NY so I don’t have Tivo or a VCR>.oh well.xo jen
