Your “Leader of the Pack” paid great homage to the Shangri-La’s, leather jacket and all. Your choreography on the Partridge Family’s “I Think I Love You” was marvelous–move over, David Cassidy.

One of my very favorite singers in college (although I wouldn’t dare admit it…had to say “Grateful Dead”, “Ten Years After”, etc.) was Helen Reddy, and a song we never hear much any more was her #1 smash “Angie Baby.” You brought it into the current millennium with a haunting version that gave us all goose bumps.

And perhaps a third #1 is in store for Bob Crewe’s “Lady Marmalade”–first Patti LaBelle, then Christina Aguilera, followed by Jennifer Naimo. Record producers??

Your tributes to Karen Carpenter (”Top of the World”), Anne Murray (”You Needed Me”) and Barbra Streisand (from “A Star is Born”) were exceptional. And your trademark “Movin’ On Up” had us all clapping and cheering with George and Weezie in mind. Rosemary Clooney’s “Come-on-a-My House” took me back to the “Hit Parade”–with your distribution of candy a wonderful added twist. Your prolonged standing ovation was well-deserved.

The Jersey Boys cast, who were all so proud of you: JLY, Travis, Michael, Tituss, Dom, Heather, Erica, Daniel, Peter and Rick (hope I didn’t miss anyone), cheered the loudest. And it was great seeing your beaming Tim with your supportive family and a huge cadre of fans.

Finally, you were so gracious to chat with and take pictures with every last fan. You made a lasting memory for all of us tonight, Jen. Thank you so much.
