Flea Market
Well the hour and a half I worked the flea market the weather was perfect. It did end up raining for awhile after 1:30. It was so crowded at Shubert Alley that I couldn’t even find the JerseyBoys table. I did run into Jerry Saviola, the SVP of Grey Advertising in NYC, who led me there. He had life size, laminated, beautiful Playbills of all the Broadway shows (that all cast members signed) that were being auctioned off at his table. As of 11:45 Jersey Boys poster was up to $250.00 … the highest bid so far.
It was really fun seeing Bway performers like Bebe Neuwirth, Edie Falco and our boys alongside each other. Then just working our table with our infatigable (is that the right word?) stage managers who were there since 8:30 am, and Matthew Scott, and our wardrobe supervisor Lee Austin..We met, in person,so many fans of our show. SO I met a lot of you that have visited this website but who I didn’t know by name. Next time you’re at the show say hi, and remind me how I know you. I remember faces better than names.
Also after the matinee I remet Doreen and John?? from Westpoint ..thanks for saying hi and Joe and his friend who are Les Miz fans and also stood or slept in line from 1:30 AM for the Saturday matinee student rush tkts.that were handed out…so you guys amaze me ..Thank you.
Last night, after the show, I went to Rosa Mexicana and had my favorite meal chips and guacamole with my friend Troy Britton Johnson who’s one of the leads in Drowsy Chaperone.We went to see our friend Heidi Blickenstaff in ‘title of show” at the Vineyard. You all need to see it before next Sunday when it closes. Heidi, Troy and I all did The Full Monty Nat’l Tour. It was such a treat to hear Heidi sing again..just beautiful..bye for now.

I was at the saturday matinee,it was funny because when you saw me at the stagedoor you said “I know you” because I was also there on August 22.Then at the Flea Market I turned around and you were right behind me!I said hi and asked if you remembered me from the show on Saturday,you did.I loved the Jersey Boys table,got 2 pins,I was low on cash.Well I might actually be going to the show on sunday my friend really wants to see it so we might come and student rush it.Don’t forget about me,i’ll see you after the show.
